At the turn of the last century the leading causes of death were infectious diseases, tuberculosis, pneumonia and syphilis. Since the turn of the last century, cancer, heart disease and other chronic ailments have become the leading causes of death. Improvements in public sanitation and personal hygiene-and year-round access to fresh produce-can explain the decline in deaths from infectious disease. But what explains the meteoric rise in death from chronic diseases?
Oxygen concentrations in and around major cities have been measured as much as 30% below normal and is obviously one of the problems. Each breath brings in less oxygen. On or about the same time through some genetic fluke, humans quit producing ascorbates. To make things even worse, most people have developed poor breathing habits, thus further restricting oxygen intake. The resulting oxygen deficiency is having a negative effect on our health and our overall performance.
Oxygen deficiency has been linked to every major illness category including heart disease, respiratory disease and cancer. All heart attacks are brought about by the failure of the heart muscle's inability to receive adequate supplies of oxygen. Inadequate oxygen levels in the body weakens the immune system which can lead to viral infections, damaged cells, inflamed joints and circulatory problems.
Sufficient oxygen helps the body in its ability to rebuild itself and maintain a strong and healthy immune system. We all know the importance of water, vitamins, minerals and enzymes for health and vitality. We can exist without food for about forty days, water for about seven days, however, without oxygen life ceases to exist in matter of minutes.
Smog, pollution, stress, depression, diseases or medical complications, changes in diet, poor nutrition can adversely affect the body’s oxygen levels. Over a prolonged period of time, low oxygen levels can result in cellular damage, organ malnutrition, increased toxicity and a higher probability of disease conditions. When the body oxygen falls to extremely low levels for prolonged periods of time, the body may become a breeding ground for harmful bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites and other infectious agents. Maintaining an adequate oxygen level in the body is critical to maintaining overall health!
Excessive stress can also rob the body of huge amounts of its much-needed oxygen. Individuals with chronically acidic systems also use up oxygen reserves. This can lead to a cycle of toxin accumulation and oxygen depletion. One way in which the body combats excess acidity is by trying to neutralize it with oxygen. To do so, it must continually divert oxygen away from its primary metabolic functions and direct it toward the acidic cells and tissues.
Research continues to prove that increased oxygen consumption promotes overall health and metabolism resulting in burning extra fat stores. The more efficiently we raise the oxygen level, the more effortlessly the body loses weight and reaches maximum energy. The key is quite logically - oxygen!
Obesity is obviously another risk factor we all face today. It might be interesting to note that twenty minutes a day of deep breathing exercise clearly, dramatically escalates athletic performance and is the single most factor in the effectiveness of all exercise. Researchers at the University of Southern California Med School, have found that oxycize techniques burn 140% more calories than riding a stationary bike. WHY? More Oxygen!
Of all the essential nutrients needed by the human, oxygen is the one we must have on a moment to moment basis. We can’t live without it even for a few minutes, yet, this is the one nutrient most people don’t associate with deficiency problems. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Dr. Keith Brewer, a famous researcher, reasoned that cesium is the most effective substance known for raising the pH level and increasing oxygen levels in order to kill cancer cells. Cesium is also used to treat chronic fatigue and to increase energy. Again, the key...Oxygen! We should all determine our own condition and work toward a pH of 7.5. Those at that level have an abundant natural energy, are not overweight and never have colds. This approach recreates the condition in which the body was born.
